Here The divisibility rule for 9 is "the sum of the digits is divisible by 9"   then the number is divisible by 9.
The number is 89357.
the sum of the digits are 8 + 9 + 3 + 5 + 7 = 32
32 is not divisible by 9, the nearest number divisible by 9 is 36, Here we add 4 for sum of digits then it is divisible by 9. for the given question The smallest number should be added to 89357 is 4.
